Patricia Mbogo is a Program Development Specialist with international experience and is a seasoned practitioner with vast knowledge on project planning, design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. Patricia has over 15 years of working experience in different sectors targeting renewable energy (clean cooking, solar for household lighting and for productive use), climate change, humanitarian, gender mainstreaming, education, youth and child development in the nonprofits organizations. Patricia has been resourceful on policy advocacy work and has worked at a high level with policy makers, donors, development practitioners, researchers and the private sector. Patricia was formerly the Program Manager, East Africa of the Clean Cooking Alliance under UN Foundation. She has also worked as a Senior Regional Project Manager East Africa with Renewable World East Africa and has also served in other capacities with reputable organizations in Kenya.
Patricia holds Masters of Arts in Project Planning Management and Bachelor of Arts from University of Nairobi respectively, Diploma in Community Based Development from Premese Africa Development Institute and has also attended several professional courses including enterprise development, grants management, public policy, private equity and venture capital from Strathmore University Business School, Monitoring and evaluation from the Kenya Institute of management and AMREF International University among others.
